Meghann has been drawing since she was old enough to hold a crayon. Her background in costume design informs her work, and she approaches her illustrations as if they are scenes on stage. Her subjects are the leading ladies, fully adorned with costumes, scenery, and lighting. Coming from a family of seven girls inspires Meghann to create confident and creative women who are always imbued with flair and occasionally with a sense of humor.

Meghann was born and raised in Michigan. After college, she moved to New York City and worked in fashion advertising with the top creative directors in the industry.  While in New York, Meghann also studied Life Drawing at the Art Students League of New York, and Fashion Image Consulting at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Meghann has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Costume Design from the University of Michigan and has designed costumes for a dozen of the University's theatrical productions; most recently, The Who's Tommy and La Bohème. Meghann is an Associate Artist at Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea, Michigan, where she recently designed costumes for The Poetry of Pizza and Growing Pretty. Meghann is also the Wardrobe Consultant for the University of Michigan Musical Theatre Department's New York City Showcase.
